Ahhh…T E R R I E R S! You will meet ‘Real Terriers’ on the Terrier Rescue website. Many are working types that have lost their homes due to a fundamental misunderstanding of terrier characteristics. Although they do look cute and cuddly, terriers are not soft toys. A Terrier Person understands the necessity to engage a terrier’s independent, active mind. As the scamps and jokesters of the canine world, we delight in their charming nature. We also recognise the need to positively manage excitement levels and exploratory escapades both on and off lead. The most valuable gift we can give our terriers is safety in every environment. Our motto: You can’t train the terrier out of a terrier, they are their own people!
